We are delighted to welcome Zafreen Chowdhury to 36 Crime.
Zafreen is instructed to both prosecute and defend in the Crown Court. She has expertise in dealing with fraud cases, drugs, violence, and sexual offending. Zafreen will also extend our extradition team.
Prior to joining 36 Crime, Zafreen was a tenant at 2 Dr. Johnson’s Buildings.
Before joining the self-employed Bar, Zafreen was a Senior Crown Prosecutor and, before then, Zafreen was a Legal Advisor at the Magistrates’ Courts of Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire. She was a paralegal at the Financial Conduct Authority and at Her Majesty’s Revenue & Customs, working on insider dealing and civil fraud cases.
Zafreen is now available to be briefed on criminal cases across the country.
