James defended in a case where his lay client was charged with one count of racially aggravated assault and one count of assault. The case involved the cross-examination of four Prosecution witnesses, including a young witness who was under the age of 16, before a jury.
The jury returned unanimous not-guilty verdicts after only 40 minutes of deliberation.
