The 36 Group is excited to announce the return of its Oral Advocacy Competition in 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for aspiring advocates who are passionate about the legal profession to demonstrate their advocacy skills and be awarded a mini pupillage.
The Competition opened on 1st March; the submission deadline is 1st April 2026. Results will be announced at the end of July.
The top 10 submissions will receive a one-week mini-pupillage at The 36 Group (Mini-pupillages will run in London over five consecutive days during the second half of 2026).
This competition is open to anyone aged 18 or above who has an interest in the legal profession and have not already been offered mini pupillage at the 36 Group. You may be undertaking a degree in law, completing or waiting to start a GDL or BVC, but this is not a requirement.
