Following the success of the 2020/2021 competition, we can confirm that applications are now open for the 2021/2022 competition.
The 36 Group advocacy competition was launched in 2020 in recognition of the difficulties many aspiring barristers were experiencing in securing relevant experience during the pandemic. It attracted over 280 entries representing 56 different institutions from across the UK.
Based on the calibre of applicants and the success of last year’s competition, we are extremely excited to see the applications for this year.
Applications must be submitted by 13th November 2021 with the top 20 candidates receiving a mini-pupillage.
