Henry James and Ami Jones successfully secured the convictions of 20 defendants in a significant prosecution for the East Midlands Complex Case Unit (CCU) at Derby Crown Court. The case involved conspiracies to supply Class A and B drugs, extensive money laundering, and the presence of a firearm.
The prosecution was one of the most complex in the region, involving 21 defendants in total, with almost all sentenced before Christmas. The remaining three defendants are due to be sentenced in May.
