Nadia Silver, instructed by CPS East Midlands, secured an extended sentence of 32 years. The defendant was found guilty of attempted murder after a 2-week trial at Nottingham Crown Court. He lay in wait for his ex-partner and mother of his child, slashed her throat and then attacked her father.
