Yesterday (1st October 2025), Mary Prior KC and Samuel Skinner KC attended the Opening of the Legal Year ceremony at Westminster Abbey, London.
The start of the legal year is a ceremony marking the beginning of the Michaelmas term. The service involves judges and members of the legal profession, followed by a reception hosted by the Lord Chancellor at the Houses of Parliament.
