James Bruce – instructed by the CPS Complex Casework Unit – and led by Simon Denison of 6KBW College Hill, secures murder convictions.
After a six-week trial at Stafford Crown Court, four men were convicted of murder for cutting down a DPD driver in Shrewsbury. A fifth “inside man” was convicted of manslaughter for providing the group with information from DPD systems to execute the ambush.
Life imprisonment with 28-year minimum terms were imposed for the murderers, with a 10-year sentence for the fifth defendant.
