Katya Saudek leading Adam Pearson secured convictions following a two-month trial at Nottingham Crown Court, of possessing firearms with intent to endanger life, and the supply of large quantities of high-purity cocaine and cannabis.
The main defendant had deliberately struck up relationships with complicit single mothers to give him a respectable veneer, and to store his drugs and a lethal firearm, alongside many live rounds of ammunition. He had numerous professional cannabis grows in houses across Nottingham. He was sentenced to 25 years in prison. A further Defendant stored firearms including slam guns. Custodial sentences totalling nearly 50 years were imposed on the 5 Defendants.
