It is with great delight that we announce that Emma Fielding has been elected as the Chair of the Young Bar Committee for the The Criminal Bar Association (CBA).
Chambers is proud to have the Chair of the CBA, Mary Prior KC and the Chair of the Young Bar Committee within 36 Crime. To have two of our women practitioners in these roles is a testament to their exceptional skill, dedication, and leadership within the legal profession.
Mary is a highly experienced criminal Silk who both defends and prosecutes high profile cases of murder, organised crime and terrorism. Her commitment to upholding the highest standards of criminal justice has been demonstrated throughout her distinguished career.
Emma prosecutes and defends in the Crown Court for a range of criminal offences including GBH, drugs offences, burglary, coercive and controlling behaviour, offensive weapons, drugs and sexual offences. She also writes for Counsel Magazine and the Archbold Review on topics such as pupillage, mentoring and case law updates
