We are delighted to announce that Professor Charles Debattista, joint Head of 36 Stone, has been appointed a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (FCIArb).
Charles began arbitrating in 2002 and, apart from his thriving practice as a barrister, has since been appointed in hundreds of arbitrations, both ad hoc and institutional, seated both in this country and in other jurisdictions. Charles has arbitrated in maritime, commodities and other high-ticket commercial disputes under the rules of the ICC, the HKIAC, the SCMA, the Swiss Arbitration Rules, the LMAA, the Minor Metals Trade Association and the Malta Arbitration Centre.
