36 Family launch charity webinar series: The Twelve Months of 36

36 Family, part of The 36 Group, announce its upcoming monthly charity webinar series throughout 2025. Expert speakers from Chambers will discuss a variety of topics across family law. Each session is designed to share expert knowledge, foster professional development, and contribute to a charitable cause.

Seminar topics and speakers will be announced monthly on the 36 Family LinkedIn page.

The first seminar took place on Monday 21 January hosted by Hannah Markham KC, Hena Vissian, and Lara Izzard-Hobbs who spoke on “Identifying and managing risk in Children cases”. This webinar explored critical considerations in high-risk child protection cases, offering best practices for identifying and mitigating potential risks.

For every attendee who remained online until the end of the event, we pledged to donate £1 to a charity selected by our speaker. The chosen charity was Mind, and a total of £188 was raised. Chambers will generously increase the donation to £200.

The next webinar will take place on Monday 10 February on “Niche but Necessary: Managing Finance Cases with a Civil Element” hosted by Rhys Taylor, Guy Holland and Pranjal Shrotri.

This session will delve into the unique challenges posed by family finance cases that intersect with civil law, providing practical strategies for legal professionals.
