We support the health and wellbeing of our people. Working in barristers’ chambers can be challenging, and almost all of us will experience stress. At The 36 Group, we are committed to making sure everyone – barristers, pupils and staff – feel empowered and supported to develop skills and pursue their careers in a safe environment.

Guided by our health and wellbeing policy and wellbeing officer, we look out for each other and encourage openness around discussing our mental and physical health.

We:

  • Support the Bar Council’s Wellbeing at the Bar initiative.
  • Have Mental Health First Aiders on our senior team.
  • Offer mentoring for pupils and junior members.
  • Hold regular get-togethers for our members, staff and their families.
