Gary is the Business Development Manager for 36 Crime. He has worked in the legal sector since 2004, with more than two decades’ experience across barristers’ chambers, clerking and business development.

Gary works closely with solicitors, professional clients, barristers and clerking teams to support instructions across crime, regulatory enforcement, professional discipline, financial & corporate crime and complex investigations. His role includes developing solicitor relationships, identifying new work streams, positioning counsel effectively, and ensuring clients are matched with barristers who have the right expertise and experience.

He has a strong understanding of the commercial and practical pressures facing those instructing counsel, particularly in serious and complex matters involving bribery, money laundering, digital assets, corporate accountability, serious crime and professional regulation.

Gary is focused on making the process of instructing 36 Crime clear, responsive and commercially useful for clients, while supporting barristers in developing sustainable and strategically aligned practices.
