Karen is regularly instructed to appear before the Asylum and Immigration Chamber of both the Upper and First-Tier Tribunals in respect of all areas of immigration law including asylum, human rights claims, and immigration bail proceedings.
Karen has experience in deprivation of nationality cases.
Karen also has experience of business immigration, and represents employers in respect of civil enforcement notices and sponsorship licences.
In addition to her immigration practice, Karen accepts instructions in all other areas of Human Rights law. Karen has represented both local authority and private tenants in possession claims, and individuals in possession proceedings against mortgage companies.
Karen has also advocated and advised on prevention from harassment injunctions, and civil claims against government bodies including the Home Office.
