Jenny accepts instructions in all areas of family law and has developed a busy practice.

Jenny regularly represents clients at all stages of financial remedies proceedings, including where issues such as conduct, non-disclosure of assets and joinder of third parties have arisen.

Jenny is instructed in both private and public children matters, many of which involve allegations of domestic abuse. Jenny has also represented applicants and respondents in relocation cases involving both Hague Convention and Non-Hague Convention countries.

Jenny has represented both applicants and respondents in Family Law Act proceedings.

Prior to pupillage, Jenny studied Law and French at the University of Bristol, which included a year studying French law at the University of Bordeaux. Jenny subsequently completed the Bar Professional Training Course (BPTC) and achieved a grade of ‘Outstanding’ in family law.

 

Key cases

Jenny successfully represented a respondent opposing an international relocation, in circumstances where Cafcass supported relocation.
