Daisy Holland was called to the Bar having achieved Distinctions in both the Bar Vocational Studies (BVS) and the Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL), alongside a First-Class BSc in Politics and International Relations from the University of Bristol. In recognition of her academic excellence, she was awarded both the Lord Denning and the Lord Bowen Scholarships by Lincoln’s Inn.

Before commencing pupillage, Daisy served as a Judicial Assistant in the Family Division of the High Court, gaining experience across the breadth of family law, with particular exposure to public children and international children cases. She contributed to reported High Court judgments, authored case summaries of 1980 Hague Convention decisions published on INCADAT (the International Child Abduction Database), and prepared research notes for High Court and Court of Appeal judges. This highly competitive and unusually prestigious pre-pupillage role provided Daisy with rare, first-hand insight into the judicial determination of complex family law disputes and the decision-making processes of the senior family judiciary.

Since commencing her second six, Daisy has been instructed across the full range of family law matters. Her practice includes private children, public children, financial remedies, and injunctive proceedings. She has acted in legally and factually complex cases, including a five-day fact-finding hearing involving serious allegations of domestic abuse over a five-year period, as well as financial remedy proceedings involving issues of receivership, bankruptcy, and complex asset structures.
