Simren Singh prosecutes a harassment case involving a BBC journalist.
The case involved three men who are members of a group called Lighthouse. A documentary was made on this group by the BBC – ‘A Very British Cult’ – leading to these men seeking out the lead investigative reporter using a private investigator and harassing at her home address. The defendants asserted that their actions were reasonable. All three were convicted.
Simren was instructed by CPS London North.
