36 Family are enormously pleased to announce that the Lord Chancellor has seen fit to approve the appointment of Martin Kingerley as one of Her Majesty’s Counsel, learned in the law. Martin was elevated to the rank of Queen’s Counsel on 16th March 2019.
To those of us in 36 Family and his clients, Martin needs no introduction. For the benefit of those that are yet to work with him, Martin is 1999 call and joined 36 Family in 2005. He is a hugely respected and popular children law practitioner, with particular expertise in Modern Families law (surrogacy, assisted reproduction etc.), and acting for high-net worth private children clients. His appointment to Silk is utterly merited and I’m sure you’ll join us in wishing him all the very best on this exciting new chapter of his career.
