Samuel Skinner KC and Sarah Knight have been instructed by the CPS East Midlands Complex Casework Unit to prosecute former Detective Chief Inspector Michael Cooper. He faces a trial for causing death and serious injury by dangerous driving whilst he was a serving police officer. The trial will take place at Nottingham next year.
