Last week at Leicester Crown Court, Michelle Clarke secured 12 Not Guilty verdicts with a unanimous decision from the jury.
Michelle represented a man accused by his ex-wife of 12 counts of rape and sexual assault. The case presented extraordinary challenges, not only due to the serious nature of the allegations but also the added complexity of making a successful application to the Duty Family Court Judge for the release of crucial documents from the Financial Proceedings in the Family Court.
