Karen Reid is called to the Bench for the Honourable Society of Middle Temple

We are delighted to announce Karen Reid has been elected as Master of the Bench for the Honourable Society of Middle Temple. Karen took to the High Table at Middle Temple Hall on 6th February 2024 where she was confirmed as a Bencher by the Master Treasurer.

Karen was nominated by fellow Benchers and appointed along with two others – Mr Benet Brandreth KC and Mr Hugh Ignatius Mohan SC who we also extend our congratulations to.

Karen is Joint Head of 36 Public & Human Rights. She practices public law, predominantly in housing and immigration. She is regularly instructed to appear before the Asylum and Immigration Chamber of both the Upper and First-Tier Tribunals in respect of all areas of immigration law including asylum, human rights claims, and immigration bail proceedings.
