It is with great sadness that the 36 Group announces the death of Joanna O’Connell.
Jo joined chambers as a pupil in 2004 and was a long-standing and highly valued member of 36 Family. She was a hard-working, compassionate and dedicated advocate, who was committed to her work in children law. She was fierce in the representation of her clients, but was a pleasant and pragmatic opponent. She will be greatly missed by her colleagues and friends in chambers, by her clients, and by all those who worked with her. Our thoughts are with her family and friends.
