36 Crime is inviting applications for Probationary Tenancies.
Over the last 5 years 36 Crime has successfully recruited 7 of its current tenants via this route. We are again seeking individuals who have experience of practising in the criminal courts; and who are able to demonstrate a real talent for advocacy and the determination and potential to excel at the Bar.
Our crime team has 50+ members including 8 silks. They are supported by a team of 6 clerks. The successful candidate(s) will be joining our under 7 years call team which currently comprises of 10 members, all of whom practises predominantly in the crown court and act for both prosecution and defence. As well as general crime our members also work in related areas such as business crime, cybercrime, regulatory law, health and safety, consumer/trading standards and inquests and inquiries. 36 Crime are therefore able to offer successful probationary tenants the opportunity to diversify into related areas of work in the future.
