Elliot joined Chambers in 2014 as our 2nd Crime Clerk and was promoted to 1st Crime Clerk in April 2022. Elliot began his clerking career at 9 Bedford Row and now has over 20 years’ experience
Elliot’srole includes liaison with professional clients regarding coverage of their cases, diary management including liaising with those instructing and court staff to ensure our hearings are efficiently serviced, the monitoring of the daily listings, all aspects of case administration including fee negotiation and providing our clients with the highest quality service. He also supervises our junior clerks.
Elliot can advise on the selection of appropriately experienced counsel in cases involving serious and complex crime, sexual offending consumer, disciplinary, extradition and trading standards issues.
Elliot has undertaken the Bar Council direct access training course for clerks and can assist with any enquiries.
