Phil Silverman is a highly experienced clerk who joined the clerking team for 36 Public & Human Rights in March 2021 alongside a substantial team of barristers from his former chambers. He has been clerking for over 30 years.
Phil supervises all day-to-day clerking for members of 36 Public & Human Rights, and his responsibilities include negotiating terms of instruction, developing and maintaining strong relationships with instructing solicitors, liaison with other clerking teams and senior staff, and all aspects of team administration.
Phil is a movie buff and enjoys watching football.
