Second Crime Clerk

Lewis joined the 36 criminal clerking team in 2023 having previously worked at 7 Bedford Row. 

His primary responsibilities are the management of our members long-term diaries including resolving clashes, liaising with court staff and other interested parties to ensure our hearings are efficiently serviced and identifying and dealing with returns in a timely manner. 

He can advise on the selection of appropriately experienced counsel across all our areas of specialism and all seniorities and from KC to junior level. He is also able to provide competitive fee quotes. 

He provides support for the daily diary processes and supervises our junior clerks. 

Lewis has undertaken the Bar Council direct access training course for clerks and can assist with any enquiries.
