First Family Clerk
Ashley started his clerking career at a small niche set in 2010 and joined 36Family in 2012. He was then promoted to First Family Clerk in 2016. He was awarded the John Carter Student of the year award in 2014 for his achievements during the IBC Chambers administration course.
He is responsible for the management of the Barristers diaries and the day to day overall assignment of cases and agreeing fees. He also works closely with the Family Practice Manager and assists with development of practices and the vision of the family team.
During his time at Chambers, Ashley has been praised for his attitude and work ethic amongst members of Chambers, as well as gaining a reputation with solicitors for his helpful and understanding approach to matching the correct Counsel to the correct case.
Before clerking, Ashley gained a 1:1 degree at the London College of music and continues to play guitar and his passion for music.
