Mary Prior QC secures acquittal of a 14 year old defendant with autism who was charged with attempted murder
Mary Prior QC secured her first acquittal in her first trial as Leading Counsel in a sensitive case involving a 14 year old defendant with autism who was indicted with attempted murder having allegedly stabbed a man 9 times resulting in life threatening injuries. The case turned on the evidence of a vulnerable witness with complex difficulties.
