36 Civil are delighted to welcome Kirk Kashefi as the newest member of their commercial and regulatory teams.
With a background in cutting edge medical research (undergraduate/postgraduate) and a career in international relations (Anglo/South-East Asian), Kirk came to the bar after gaining years of experience in top tier international law firms where he worked on numerous complex and highly sensitive multi-jurisdictional disputes covering a range of areas such as: banking & finance, commercial contracts, infrastructure projects/construction/energy arbitration, financial crime (civil), business ethics and corporate governance, and large scale regulatory investigations.
Before coming to the bar, Kirk was also in-house counsel at a major international investment bank where he focused on general commercial/company law, investment management, core banking and mergers and acquisitions.
His practice at the bar amalgamates his extensive commercial and industry expertise, which combined with solid litigation and trial experience in numerous forums (including criminal courts) enable him to provide concise, commercially relevant and pragmatic advice, and to be an effective advocate.
36 Civil is delighted to have Kirk as a valued new member of Chambers. He will work alongside our multi-specialised group of over 100 Barristers, Mediators and Arbitrators.
