The President today handed down the Court of Appeal’s judgment in an important case dealing with the rights of ‘fostering for adoption’ carers and the correct approach to take to applications to intervene in care proceedings and for permission to apply for an adoption order when a family placement is also a possibility: Re T (A Child) (Early Permanence Placement) [2015] EWCA Civ 983.
