Practice Profile
Lee specialises in complex and high value disputes and his practice extends across a broad range of commercial law, both in advice and advocacy. His work is principally focussed on:
international and multi-jurisdictional banking disputes
corporate and personal insolvency
money laundering and asset tracing
commercial and white collar crime
general commercial disputes involving breach of contract, breach of trust, negligence and aspects of residential and commercial property law.
Lee's practice also encompasses several niche areas including defamation, aviation, competition, intellectual property and trademark infringement, and taxation.
Prior to joining the Bar, Lee worked at leading American law firms and UK magic circle firms, where his work included representing a multinational corporate client that was subject to a major international investigation by the US Securities and Exchange Commission, representing a global software company in respect of antitrust proceedings at the European Commission and defending insurer and institutional clients in the key areas of professional indemnity, healthcare, employment and public authority litigation. Lee also acquired particular expertise acting for barristers, solicitors and architects in negligence claims.
