Prior to beginning pupillage, Lara worked for a year at the Infected Blood Inquiry, where her role focused on coordinating the Inquiry’s expert work. This involved recruiting and managing international medical experts to produce reports and give live-streamed evidence on relevant medical conditions and the impacts of infection.
Lara has an LLM with Distinction from University College London, covering family law topics concerning both children and finance.
While studying, she worked part-time for several disability charities as a support worker, for the Donor Conception Network as an assistant and at a law firm in Beijing as a British Council intern.
