Juliet has over 20 years experience at the Bar and has specialised for many years now in financial remedies upon divorce and relationship breakdown.
She brings significant experience at all stages of proceedings from strategic pre-proceedings advice and early neutral evaluation to interim applications for financial provision or to preserve the resources, through to multi-day final hearings and appeals including in the Court of Appeal. Juliet’s practice includes cases involving complex business arrangements, unusual trust structures, analysis of business accounts, farming cases and cases in which there are issues of non-disclosure or dissipation of assets, with a particular interest in disputes as to business valuations and cases in which third party property interests arise in financial remedy.

Moher v Moher [2019] EWCA Civ 1482, [2020] 1 FLR 225: Juliet represented the husband initially on her own and subsequently led by King’s Counsel in this seminal Court of Appeal decision concerning (inter alia) the principles regarding drawing adverse inferences from non-disclosure
S v S – long marriage case involving substantial business assets and other shareholdings which proved difficult to value due to the volatile nature of the sector, likely to exceed £40m.
B v B – Juliet represented a very high net worth husband with a controlling interest in a series of family companies and trusts holding a substantial commercial property portfolio. The primary issue concerned the effect of prenuptial and postnuptial agreements on the outcome after a short-medium length marriage.
