Practice Profile
Eve has accepted an invitation to join The 36 Group in April 2021, having previously practised at the Bar in East Anglia.
Instructed at all stages of proceedings in both private and public law children matters, Eve undertakes work on behalf of all parties, be that parent, child or Local Authority. She also has experience with ancillary applications including non-molestation orders and occupation orders.
Broadening her experience, Eve has appeared before the High Court as a led Junior on behalf of a parent in an ongoing Public Law matter involving serious non-accidental injuries, whereby the fact-finding lasted four weeks.
Eve has also had recent success in the Court of Appeal, in which Jackson LJ and Flaux LJ commented on Eve's "helpful written submissions and firm oral submissions". She represented the Chief Constable of Essex Police in respect of committal proceedings and successfully persuaded the Court that they should not interfere with the contemnors' immediate custodial sentences.
