Instructed at all stages of proceedings in both private and public law children matters, Eve undertakes work on behalf of all parties, be that parent, child or Local Authority. She also has experience with ancillary applications including non-molestation orders and occupation orders.

Eve has been a full member of 36 Family since December 2021, having joined in April 2021 as a probationary tenant.

Eve specialises in children matters and has extensive experience in private law proceedings. Eve has a busy practice representing parents, and the child through their Guardian, at all stages of proceedings.Throughout her practice, Eve has gained vast experience in such matters, at all levels of complexity, including where there are serious allegations made which require a fact-finding hearing, or intractable disputes as to contact.

Pragmatic in her approach, Eve is often commended for her sensible and clear advice, as well as her straight-forward and empathetic nature with clients.

 

Eve regularly undertakes public law work, on behalf of all parties, including the Local Authority. Broadening her experience, Eve is often instructed to appear as a led Junior in complex matters, specifically involving non-accidental injuries.

Eve regularly uses social media to try to help break down barriers in terms of accessibility to, and diversity at, the Bar, such as with ‘Day in the Life of a Junior Family Barrister’ posts. Eve also utilises her platform to spread awareness of key issues at the Bar, specifically tackling sexual harassment.
