Kaity commenced pupillage with 36 Stone in 2023.
Prior to pupillage, Kaity qualified as a Solicitor in New South Wales, where she worked as an Associate and then Research Associate (Judicial Assistant) at the Federal Court of Australia. In her time at the Federal Court, she worked with multiple senior judges on commercial law matters, assisting them with legal research.
Kaity holds first class honours degrees in both Arts (Government and International Relations) and Law from the University of Sydney, where she was a top performer in her cohort and the recipient of the Alan Bishop Memorial Scholarship and Walter Reid Memorial Prize. In her time at University, she won the Australian rounds of the Philip C Jessup Public International Law Moot, where was awarded the prize for Best Oralist in the Grand Final by the now Chief Justice of the High Court of Australia, and the Australian Intervarsity Debating Championships. She was also a finalist at the International Maritime Law Arbitration Moot in Rotterdam. In 2022, she completed her Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice with the Australian College of Law.

Education History
Kaity graduated from the University of Sydney with a Bachelor of Arts (Hons I) (2019) and Bachelor of Laws (Hons I) (2021). Her two theses, on topics of public international law, each received a high distinction grade. During her studies, Kaity was an avid debater and mooter, winning and reaching the finals of multiple mooting and debating competitions, including the Australian rounds of the Jessup, the International Maritime Law Arbitration Moot, the National Women’s Moot, the Australian Debating Championships, and the Australasian Debating Championships. She was also the President of the University of Sydney Union Debating Society.
