Rhys Evans, instructed by Tony Donnelly of Nicol Denvir & Purnell Solicitors (NDP Legal) was successful in representing the interests of the children in the Court of Appeal (King, Nugee, Laing LLJs) in the appeal of Re J (Children) [2026] EWCA Civ 989 which concerned an application to revoke a Placement Order and wider public policy considerations as to whether foster carers seeking to adopt could amount to a change in circumstances relevant to the statutory criteria.
