His Majesty appoints Samuel Skinner as King’s Counsel

Samuel Skinner

We are delighted to announce that His Majesty has appointed Samuel Skinner as King’s Counsel.

Samuel Skinner is a specialist in criminal law with significant expertise in prosecuting and defending in complex offences, namely murder, terrorism, high value fraud and serious sexual crimes. He is recognised as a persuasive jury advocate in the Legal 500.

Mary Prior KC, Head of 36 Crime, said “This appointment reflects the high calibre of Samuel’s practice and his excellence in advocacy. The team are delighted that such a talented and valued member of 36 Crime has succeeded in taking Silk. We have no doubt that Samuel will flourish.”

We congratulate Samuel on this achievement and are proud to note that we believe he is the first barrister of Tibetan heritage ever to take silk.
