James Bruce (led by Simon Denison KC, 6KBW College Hill) helped secure convictions against two more men for their part in a broad daylight killing in Shrewsbury. James cross examined the second defendant, who accepted bringing a hockey stick to the ambush but denied intending to kill or cause serious bodily harm. The jury returned unanimous verdicts of murder.
This trial followed the convictions of four other men for the murder of Aurman Singh, and one man for manslaughter; James again being led for the Prosecution.
