We are proud to announce that Chambers has achieved LOCS:23 certification, reinforcing our commitment to the highest standards of data protection and compliance.
The Legal Services Operational Privacy Certification Scheme (LOCS:23) is officially approved by the ICO and UKAS and is designed to assist legal service providers in demonstrating compliance with UK data protection law when processing data.
As one of the early adopters of this scheme, 36 Group are among the first Chambers to achieve this accreditation. We recognise the vital role this certification plays in ensuring our clients, members and staff can trust that their data is handled with utmost care.
Rowan Caffull, CEO of 36 Group commented: “Achieving LOCS:23 certification is a testament to our commitment to operational excellence, data security and compliance. In an era where data protection is more crucial than ever, we are proud to lead the way in adopting best practices that will provide confidence for our clients.”
This achievement wouldn’t have been possible without the hard work of our administration team. A huge thank you to Gemma Butler and Rowan Caffull, whose efforts were instrumental in securing this certification for Chambers, along with Briefed, whose invaluable guidance and support played a crucial role throughout this process.
